Mount Huangshan or Yellow Mountain is well-known for its ancient pine trees, unique rocks, and panoramic views. In Wuyuan, Jiangxi, often called the “most beautiful countryside in China,” you will shoot ancient villages, traditional architecture, and tranquil rivers.
This 4-day private photography tour in China takes you through the natural beauty of the two places. Some cultural sites are also included such as the Tunxi Ancient Street and the Hu Kaiwen Ink Factory in your Huangshan tour.

Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrival in Huangshan
Ni Hao (Hello)! Welcome to Huangshan for a 4-day China photography tour! When you arrive in Huangshan City, your privateĀ driver will pick you upĀ at the exit of the airport/train station and then transfer you to your downtown hotel.
The rest of the day is free for your arrangement. If you need any suggestions, your 1-to-1 travel consultant willĀ be very happy to help you.

- Day 2: Mt. Huangshan TourYellow Mountain Hike with Scenic Wonders & Sunset Views
After breakfast, meet your tour guide and start your Huangshan tour with a drive for around 1-1.5 hours to the famous Yellow Mountain. Upon arrival, you willĀ hop onĀ the shuttle bus to Yungu Station and take a cable car up the mountain.
Enjoy your Mount Huangshan hikeĀ through the Beihai Scenic Area, passing Begin-to-Believe Peak, Black Tiger Pine, and other attractions, and finally arrive at the Cloud-Dispelling PavilionĀ to enjoy the sunset. This is one of the classic routes for hiking in Huangshan Mountain. Visitors can overlook the magnificent view of the West Sea Grand Canyon.
Yellow Mountain Hike If physical strength permits, it is worthwhile to continue to the Bright Summit, where you can not only enjoy the wonders of the Flying-over Rock, but also have a great view of the main peak of Mount Huangshan.
After all the visits, return to your hotel and have a good rest.
Note: Due to cold weather and heavy snowfall, the West Sea Grand Canyon is typically closed from December until late March of the following year.

- Day 3: Huangshan City TourAdmire Huizhou-style Buildings, See Ink-making Process
WalkĀ to Refreshing TerranceĀ in the early morning, if the weather permits. ThisĀ is aĀ perfect place to take pictures ofĀ the sunriseĀ over Huangshan Mountain. Return to the hotel for breakfast.
Continue hiking to Lion Peak, along the way to enjoy the wonder of the Monkey Watching the Sea. At the end of the Mount Huangshan tour, take the cable car from Yungu Station and go down the mountain.
Stone Monkey Watching the Sea After that, you will be transferred back to Huangshan city to visit Tunxi Ancient Street. With a total length of 1,272 meters, it is the best-preserved ancient street in China with the most architectural styles of the Southern Song Dynasty and the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Surrounded by mountains and water, the street consists of more than 300 Huizhou-style buildings and is lined with stores selling tea, cultural treasures, and specialties from Huizhou.
Next, go to Hu Kaiwen Ink-stick Factory, a long-established ink-making brand with a history of more than two hundred years. Here you will visit the purely handmade production process and feel the fragrance of ink.
After the visit, go to your Huangshan City hotel.

- Day 4: Huangshan to Wuyuan Tour, DepartureShoot Beautiful Rural Scenery in Wuyuan Villages
After breakfast, we will drive for 1.5 hours to the most beautiful countryside in China - Wuyuan. Start your photography tour in Wuyuan at the Likeng, an ancient village with a history of nearly 1,000 years. Mountain streams merge into a small river in the village. Stone and wooden arch bridges with different characteristics are built on the river. Enjoy a relaxing walk in this village
Next, go to visit Wangkou Village, once an important hub for Hui merchants in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Villagers here still maintain their traditional way of life now. Then, be transferred toĀ Xiaoqi Village, where most of the houses wereĀ built in the Qing Dynasty architectural style. The alleys in the village are paved and twisted with green stones. Stroll through this picturesque village and capture the typical Chinese rural style.
Wuyuan Wangkou Village Last, head toĀ Jiangwan Scenic Spot, a rich Huizhou cultural heritage. Here you will have a full view of the ancient Huizhou architecture, including the clan temples and memorial halls.
After the tour, you will be escorted back to Huangshan to take a flight/train to your next destination or home. This marks the end of your 4-day Huangshan and Wuyuan tour package.
