AM: In the early morning, our Beijing driver will pick you up from your hotel around 4:30 am, transfer to Beijing Capital Airport for early morning flight CA1119/07:00-08:15 (or one with similar schedule) to Datong. Upon arrival, our local guide will pick you up on time.

Go to visit the Yungang Grottoes which is honored as one of the “Four Great Grottoes Arts”, together with Luoyang Longmen Grottoes, Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes and Tianshui Maijishan Grottoes. It was 460 AD when the Yungang Grottoes was carved. Travelers could learn the profound Buddhist history, culture and arts through those grottoes and wall paintings.

Noon: Lunch at local restaurant.

PM: Next, move to the miraculous Hanging Monastery. Travelers will marvel at it’s building structures which are at the steep cliff. It’s also the only existed temple with unique features of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism.

After the tour finished, transfer to Datong Airport for night flight KN2938/21:05-22:00 (or one with similar schedule) to Beijing Nanyuan Airport. Upon arrival, our local driver will pick you up on time, transfer back to your hotel in Beijing.
