- Day 1: Shangri-La Arrival
The local driver will greet you at the airport holding a welcome sign with your name. Boarding a private, air-conditioned car and then you will be transferred directly to your hotel to check in. If you arrive early, you can freely enjoy the day on your own exploring the county.

- Day 2: Shangri-La Culture TourExplore Songzanlin Temple, Spin Prayer Wheels and Craft Pottery.
After breakfast, meet your guide at the hotel lobby and start your Shangri-La tour at the Songzanlin Temple. It is a large Tibetan Buddhist temple in Yunnan, quite similar to the Potala Palace in Lhasa looking from afar. The temple collects lots of religious artifacts and precious cultural relics.
There are several prayer wheels in Songzanlin Monastery, varying in size and arranged in a harmonious layout. The prayer wheel inside the monastery should be spun clockwise. Each spin is equivalent to reciting a scripture once, making it an excellent way to ward off disasters and accumulate merit.
Songzanlin Monastery In the afternoon, you will head to Nixi Pottery VillageĀ to explore the folk culture of pottery making. With the explication from your guide and trying it on your own, you will grab the essence of this hand-made skill handed down for thousands of years. After the whole day tour, you will be sent back to your hotel.

Nixi Pottery Village - Day 3: Shangri-La Nature TourDiscover Potatso Park's Paradise, Stroll Dukezong Moonlit Square
Todayās tour in Shangri-la takes you to a natural botanical garden - the Potatso National Park. The climate in the park is wet and pleasant, thus you can often see it wreathed in mist, or shrouded in the sea of clouds. The Mirror-like alpine lakes, meadows with beautiful water and grass, wetlands with blooming flowers, and primeval forest frequented by birds and beasts, all make this place totally a paradise.
After lunch, you will proceed to the Old Town of Dukezong which was built in the Tang dynasty. Dukezong is a Tibetan pronunciation meaning āmoonlight cityā and ācastle built on stoneā. The layout of the town is like eight petals of the lotus, and the center is the Moonlight Square. Turning the huge prayer wheel, you can feel the Tibetan piety in the sound of chanting.

Potatso National Park - Day 4: Shangri-La DepartureVisit Baiji Temple for Stunning Views of Dukezong
You will check out the hotel today, and then visit the last station of this Shangri-La trip ā Baiji Temple. Nestled on a hilltop in the Old Town of Dukezong, it provides visitors with the best birdās eye view of the town and its surroundings.
Afterward, the guide will see you off at the airport for your departure. Our service ends here.
