Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Beijing Roundway to Xian by Flight
ThisĀ tourĀ is specially designedĀ forĀ travellers who want to visitĀ XiāanĀ while staying in Beijing. The Beijing local driver will pick you up at your hotelĀ in the early morning, then fly to Xiāan. The average fight duration is two and a half hours.
Note: You need to get up very early due to the flight schedule.
Once you arrive, Xian tour guide and driver will pick you up at the airport. In the late morning, go directly to the Terracotta WarriorsĀ as the first stop. The guide will explain the history and secrets of Chinaās first emperor, Qin Shi Huang; show you the famous armies with war chariots and horses; and let you know how ancient craftsmen made them.
You will have around three hours to explore the three main pits, all pits have distinct sides. The first one is the largest, which contains about 6,000 soldiers; the second one features more complex formations, including different types of soldiers and war chariots; the third one is the smallest, and is thought to be the command center.
