After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, your private local Xian tour guide will meet you in the lobby for an 08:30 am pick-up. Together, you will drive to the famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses, located in Lintong District.
Some farmers stumbled upon this amazing archaeological site back in ’74, and it turned out to be a major find! This UNESCO site was built to guard the tomb of Chinaās First Emperor. Upon exploring Pits 1, 2, and 3 with a guide for about two and a half hours, you’ll see thousands of clay soldiers that are all life-sized. Each one has a really detailed face, and they’re set up in this old battle formation with horses and chariots. The guide will tell you fascinating stories and facts so you can get a feel for how big and well-made this place is.

After lunch (included), return to Xian City and your tour in Xian continues to the Ancient City Wall. It is the largest and most well preserved ancient city wall in China, 12 meters high and 12-14 meters wide at the top. It is a closed rectangle with a circumference of 13.74 kilometers. On the city wall, you can choose to ride a bicycle at your own expense and enjoy the scenery inside and outside the city wall. Next, you will be transferred to the landmark – Bell Tower & Drum Tower Square, where you can take some photos.
The Muslim QuarterĀ is the perfect, lively last stop on your Xi’an tour. This historic Hui-style neighborhood is full of narrow, busy streets with small shops and real street food. As you walk around, you can try manyĀ kinds of tasty Shaanxi finger foods and Xi’an specialties like Biangbiang Noodles, RougamoĀ (Chinese Hamburger with Meat), Pita Bread in Beef/Lamb Soup, and Cold Noodles. It’s a great place to experience the city’s food scene and end your day in a fun way.
