Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Mt Huashan Adventure
After breakfast, your professional tour guide will pick you up from your downtown hotel around 8 am.
After about 2 hours of driving, you will arrive at Mount Huashan. First, take the cable car up the North Peak, the point to start your hiking. Your guide will leave you to freely explore the mountain.
On the top of the mountain, there are several spots such as Taoist temples, sculptures and engravings. Enjoy yourself on the four peaks. After you hike to the Golden Lock Pass, you can optionally buy a lock and hang it on the iron chains. People usually do this to pray for safety and health. It must be marvelous scenery with thousands of golden locks on the iron chains.
Mount Huashan in January The Middle Peak (Jade Maiden Peak) offers you a chance to view the cloud sea just roaring before your eyes. The journey continues to East Peak where you can discover secret pathways and beautiful natural scenery. The ways of Mount Huashan serve as a historical record that shows the important cultural heritage that exists on this mountain.
Lunch: We would like to suggest you prepare some food and bottled water for the whole climb. The lunch is on your own since there is no restaurant on the mountain top.
Beautiful views of Mt. Huashan Proceed from your current location to reach South Peak, the highest point of Mount Huashan and offers exceptional views. The path continues leading you down to West Peak, near Cuiyun Palace that features a large stone resembling a lotus flower shape so it got the name Lotus Peak.
Finally, make your way back to the North Peak, the starting point, and catch the return cable car down to the foot of the mountain. At about 17:00, the drivers will wait for you and your guide at the exit of the mountain and transfer you back to your hotel.
