Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Mount Huashan Adventure from Xi'an by Bullet Train
In the morning, your private guide will meet you at your hotel and accompany you to Xianbei Railway Station by metro. A bullet train takes you to Huashanbei Railway Station in 28 minutes. Then transfer a private van to get to the foot of Mount Huashan upon your arrival.
Important Note: The price excludes the entrance fee to Mt. Huashan and cable cars. You can pay onĀ site. The entrance fee varies, CNY160 P.PĀ from March to November and CNY100 P.PĀ from December to February.
As one of the Five Great Mountains of China, Mount Huashan is renowned for its precipitous narrow paths.Ā This mountain hasĀ five peaks resembling the petals of a flower. North PeakĀ at an altitude of 1614.9 metersĀ is usuallyĀ the starting point. Instead of 5-hour hiking up the peak,Ā you will take a cable car quickly to its top in only 8 minutes.
Take photos of the stone monument The summit is very spaciousĀ and from whereĀ you can see Canglong Ridge. Take memorable photos at "Huashan LunjianĀ (čÆå±±č«å)" stone monument and visit Taoist temples.Ā After that, start your hikeĀ to the Middle Peak. It is also called Jade Maiden Peak because there is a Jade Maiden Temple built to commemorate a girlĀ who did not seek fame and wealth.
Then climb to East Peak, South Peak (the highest peak, with an altitude of 2155 meters) and finally descend to the West Peak whereĀ the cable car station is located. Go down the mountainĀ by a 30-minute cable car ride while appreciate the beautiful panoramic view.
Tip: CXTĀ suggestsĀ you bringĀ some food asĀ there is no restaurant on the mountaintop.

At about 17:00, yourĀ guide will accompany you to Huashan Station and take the high-speed train back to Xian. At last, take the metro to your hotel and have a good rest.
