Your English-speaking tour guide will meet you at the lobby of your downtown hotel. Then drive for 1 hour to the renowned Terracotta Warriors. Your guide will take you on a tour of three pits, where life-sized clay soldiers are made over two thousand years ago, each with unique facial details. Understand how it is built, discovered, and maintained. You will also learn about the historical achievements of China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huang.
Then, you will be transferred to explore the Terracotta Figures Factory, where the ancient art of terracotta figure-making comes to life. Under the guidance of a skilled craftsman, try to create a small Terra Cotta Warrior. This is a unique souvenir to commemorate your visit.
We’ll take a break for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can savor delicious regional cuisine. Taste the flavors of Xi’an and recharge for the afternoon ahead.
After lunch (included), continue to visit the Banpo Museum, the first prehistoric site museum in China. This site reveals the production, lifestyle, customs, and habits of a typical Neolithic period dating back over 6000 years.
The tour guide will take you to explore houses, cellars, tools, painted pottery and other artworks to learn about the rich cultural history of the Banpo people.
After the one day group tour in Xian, our tour guide and driver will take you back to the hotel in the city center.
