This tour can be a nice choice for students group or family with children. The Banpo Museum will bring you back to 5000-6000 years ago to know some interesting things of primitive people and their life, and the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum will tell you the stories of the Qin Dynasty and the first emperor of China. In both museums, you will learn a lot about China’s long history and rich culture. After a meaningful time at the museums, you will also have a hands-on experience of pottery making. You may have bought some nice plates and cups, but making one by yourself is even better. Just imagine the minute you finish it and the big smile on your face!

AM: At 08:30, your private guide and driver will meet you at your downtown hotel. Then you will be escorted to visit Banpo Museum which is built on the site where the ruins of an ancient village were discovered in 1953. You will learn about the basic facts of matriarchal society far back to 5000-6000 years ago.
After 1-1.5 hours at Banpo Museum, we will head to Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World” and one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in the 20th century, the museum shows a surprisingly high level in sculpture. Some western visitors call the three pits of the Terracotta Warriors as “Handsome Men Gathering”. You will notice the terracotta soldiers are different from each other, especially their facial features and braids. You will also see two “BMWs” of the Emperor Qin Shihuang. They were the most luxurious vehicle in the Qin Dynasty.
Noon: Lunch in a local restaurant.

PM: After lunch, we will drive back to downtown for the 2-hour pottery making. You will make a piece of pottery with the assistance of a teacher. It will be a relaxing and funny time.
At last, your guide and driver will take you back to your hotel at about 18:00.
