And he is basically omnipotent, practicing medicine, inventing well, building houses, making weapons, etc. This tour will take you to the Yellow Emperor Mausoleum and Xuanyuan Temple to learn about the Yellow Emperor in detail. The place is not only a mausoleum but also a spiritual home of Chinese people. Because the sites are far from Xian, you will stay in the car for 6.5-8 hours in total, which will be a good chance to see the Loess Plateau in Northern Shaanxi Province.

In the morning, our guide and driver will meet you at your Xian downtown hotelĀ and we will drive 200 km (about 3.5 hours) northward to theĀ revered Yellow Emperor Mausoleum. In Chinese folklore, the Yellow Emperor is revered as the progenitor of the Chinese people, and on Tomb Sweeping Day, the local government orchestrates a solemn sacrificial ceremony to honor this legendary figure, drawing crowds of both domestic and overseas Chinese paying homage to their ancestors. The mausoleum’s surroundings offer an immersive blend of sightseeing and cultural exploration, providing an ideal setting to delve into the richĀ Chinese heritage. In the afternoon, you will be guided toĀ visit to Xuanyuan Temple, originally built in the Han Dynasty (202BC-220AD). The existing architecture was built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and the later years. As we approach this sacred site, marvel at the ancient architecture that graces the entrance. Xuanyuan Temple is dedicated to the Yellow Emperor, a legendary figure in Chinese mythology. Step into a realm where spirituality and history intertwine seamlessly.
Delve into the depths of Xuanyuan Temple. The air is filled with a sense of reverence as you explore the intricately adorned halls and courtyards. Our knowledgeable guide will share captivating stories about the significance of the temple and its role in preserving the legacy of the Yellow Emperor.
At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to the hotel at about 19:00.
