Upon your arrival, our local guide and driver will warmly greet you and transfer you to the Kunming Spring City Golf & Lake Resort. After breakfast, get ready for your first golf experience at the Mountain Course of Kunming Spring City Golf & Lake Resort, designed by Jack Nicklaus, one of the greatest golfers of all time. This 18-hole course features challenging fairways, undulating greens, and breathtaking scenery. Enjoy the game and the fresh air at this award-winning golf resort, which is reputed as the “Golf Paradise in Asia” and has hosted many international tournaments.
In the afternoon, drive about 90 kilometers to the Stone Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a natural wonder of karst formations. Marvel at the various shapes and sizes of the stone pillars, some resembling animals, plants, or human figures. Explore the highlights of the Greater Stone Forest, the Lesser Stone Forest, and the Naigu Stone Forest, and learn about the legends and stories behind them. You can also see some of the local ethnic minority groups, such as the Yi and the Sani, who live in the area and have their own unique culture and customs. Drive back to Kunming after the visit.

This morning, play golf at the Lake Course of Kunming Spring City Golf & Lake Resort, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. This 18-hole course offers a different challenge from the Mountain Course, with more water hazards, sand bunkers, and strategic layouts. Enjoy the game and the lake view.
In the afternoon, visit the Western Hills, a forest park on the west bank of Dianchi Lake. Take a cable car to the Dragon Gate, a collection of grottoes, sculptures, and temples carved into the cliff. Admire the craftsmanship and panoramic views before descending by cable car and returning to Kunming.

After breakfast, catch the high-speed train to Lijiang. The train ride will take about 3 hours, and you can enjoy the scenery of the countryside and the mountains along the way.
Upon your arrival, you will be picked up by your local guide and driver, and transferred to your hotel in Lijiang Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a well-preserved example of a Naxi town.
In the afternoon, start your exploration of Lijiang Ancient Town, also known as Dayan Old Town. You will see the distinctive architecture, the stone bridges, the canals, and the cobbled streets that create a harmonious and picturesque atmosphere. Visit Mufu Palace, the former residence of the Naxi ruler, and learn about the history and culture of the Naxi people, who have a matriarchal society and a pictographic writing system. Then, stroll along the Sifang Street Square, the center of the town, and enjoy the lively atmosphere and the local snacks.
Optional activities: walk up to the Lion Hill, and climb the Wanggu Tower, the highest point of the town, for a bird’s eye view of the old town and the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
Then, head to Dongba Culture Museum, where you can see the exhibits of the Dongba culture, the ancient religion and writing system of the Naxi people. The Dongba script is composed of more than 1400 pictograms, and is the only living pictographic language in the world.
Walk to Black Dragon Pool Park, a picturesque park with a clear pond, a white marble bridge, and a backdrop of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

In the afternoon, explore the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, a sacred mountain and a natural wonder of Yunnan. The mountain is home to many glaciers, forests, meadows, and rivers, and has a rich biodiversity and cultural significance. Take a tramway to the Spruce Meadow, a beautiful alpine meadow with lush vegetation and colorful flowers.
On the way back, enjoy the beautiful scenery at the Blue Moon Valley, a valley with four lakes of different colors and shapes, formed by the melting snow water from the mountain.
After the visit, drive back to Lijiang.

Continue driving to Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the world's deepest and most magnificent gorges. Hike the Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge section, known for its narrowest part where a tiger is said to have leaped across the river.
After hiking, continue driving to Shangri-La, a mythical paradise. Enjoy the changing scenery of the countryside, mountains, and rivers along the way.
