When arriving in Dunhuang, your private tour guide will pick you up at the train station or airport. Then you will be escorted to a hotel in the city center for a brief rest.
Spend your afternoon at Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring. Covering an area of 76.82 square kilometers, it is characterized by the desert wonder of sand and spring coexisting. Mingsha Mountain stretches for 40 kilometers from east to west, with its main peak reaching an altitude of 1715 meters. It is composed of fine sands of red, yellow, green, black, white, and five colors. Crescent Spring is nestled within the embrace of Mingsha Mountain. It is named after its shape resembling a crescent moon.
The scenic area offers many entertainment facilities including sand sliding, camel riding, desert off-road, and starry sky concerts. You can choose your favorite project at your own expense. Your guide will assist you in buying tickets.
Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring As the sky gradually darkened, we move to the Shazhou Night Market. As the largest night market in Dunhuang, this is a gathering place for Silk Road cuisine and Silk Road handicrafts, with a rich folk flavor. There are some local specialty snacks worth trying, such as Yellow Noodle with Donkey Meat, Samsa, Apricot Peel Water. After that, we will take you back to the hotel to rest.

- Day 2: Culture Exploration, DepartureTouch History through the "Pearl of Eastern Art"
This morning is for exploring a world cultural heritage site known as the "Pearl of Eastern Art". It is the Mogao Grottoes. There are currently 735 caves and 45000 square meters of murals preserved here. In addition, the five Tang and Song dynasties wooden constructions and more than 2400 colored sculptures are also significant highlights. The Mogao Caves present a history of artistic evolution spanning sixteen centuries. The caves excavated in various dynasties are imprinted with unique characteristics of their respective eras.
Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang After the visit, the guide will take you to have lunch. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport or train station to catch the departing plane or high-speed train. This is the end of the 2-day Dunhuang tour. Safe travels!
