Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Chengdu- Leshan – Mt. Emei by CarLeshan Giant Buddha (Lunch)
AM: Today, you’ll head to the amazing Giant Buddha in Leshan. Drive around 2 hours from Chengdu city, you can enjoy the urban scenery on the way.
Regarded as the tallest stone Buddha in the world, Leshan Giant Buddha was carved out of a cliff face 1300 years ago. When you look up to it from its toes, it’s hard to imagine how ancient Chinese people built this massive statue which withstood the ravages of wind and rain as well as man-made damages. You will climb up the stairs to the top of the mountain to enjoy wonderful scenery. The stairs may seem intimidating, but the hiking is well worth the time and effort.
Noon: Lunch at local restaurant.
PM: After visit in Leshan, drive to Mt.Emei and transfer to local hotel for check in.

Leshan Giant Buddha - Day 2: Mt. Emei – Chengdu by CarMountain E-mei (Breakfast + Lunch)
AM: Today you will spend full day to explore Mountain E-mei. First, take an Eco-car in the Scenic Area to Leidongping and hiking to Jieyin Hall, from where you will take a cable car up to the Golden Summit (altitude: 3077 m). At the highest peak of the mountain, you will be amazed by the awe-inspiring view of Huazhang Temple and witness the breathtaking sea of clouds if it’s sunny. Next, go down to Wannian Temple parking lot by car. Take a cable car up to Wannian Temple at the middle of the mountain. Appreciate the most beautiful landscape of Mt. Emei in Qingyin Pavilion as you hike from Wannian Temple to Wuxiangang parking lot.
Noon: Lunch at local restaurant.
PM: After the tour, you will be escorted back to Chengdu downtown hotel.
