Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Chengdu ArrivalJinsha Site Museum (Dinner)
Our guide and driver will be waiting for you at the exit of Chengdu airport / train station by holding a welcome sign with your name. Then you will be escorted to visit Jinsha Site Museum. It is an excellent place to learn about Chengdu's history. There are thousands of cultural relics that can date back to 3000 years ago. You will follow your knowledgeable tour guide to appreciate the precious artifacts such as golden sun bird disc, golden mask, bronze standing figure and stone tiger, and get to know the stories behind them. You also can enjoy a leisurely walk around the lovely park.
In the evening you will try tasty Sichuan Food in a local restaurant. Sichuan Food is one of the eight main cuisines in China. Believe your taste buds will be satisfied by the meal.

Jinsha Site Museum - Day 2: ChengduChengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, Renmin Park, Wenshu Temple, Jinli Old Street (Breakfast + Lunch)
AM: In the morning our guide and driver will greet you in your hotel lobby and escort you to Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, which is well known for the protection and breeding of the endangered giant pandas which are unique to China. The base is definitely a highlight for most visitors to Chengdu. There are adorable pandas everywhere. You can watch them eating bamboo, playing with each other, and of course sleeping. Your tour guide will navigate you through the huge area, share some information about the pandas, and help you take amazing photos.
Noon: Lunch at local restaurant.
Baby pandas in Chengdu Panda Base PM: In the afternoon take a walk in Renmin Park to have some leisure time. After that head to Wenshu Temple, a Buddhist temple built in the Qing Dynasty (1636-1912). At last take a walk in Jinli Old Street. That street used to be one of the oldest and busiest commercial streets of Shu Kingdom. In that street tourists will see some typical elements of Chengdu lifestyle. E.g. Tea houses, taverns, bars, local snacks, handcrafts, local specialties, etc.

Jinli Pedestrian Street - Day 3: Chengdu DepartureDufu Thatched Cottage (Breakfast + Lunch)
Du Fu (712-770) is a most achieved poet in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Dufu Thatched Cottage is actually a museum in memory of the great poet. He lived in the Mid-Tang Dynasty when the dynasty turned from its prosperity to decline. So, most of his poems reflect the sufferings of normal people and alarming social facts. His great poems win the fame Sage of Poetry for him.
After visiting there you will be escorted to airport/train station to depart to your next destination.
