Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Xining Arrival
Our driver will be waiting for you at the exit of Xining airport / train station by holding a welcome sign with your name. Then you will be transferred to the hotel. Please enjoy your free time in the rest of the day.

- Day 2: XiningQinghai Lake (Breakfast + Lunch)
After hotel breakfast, please go to meet your guide and driver in hotel lobby. Then you will drive for about 2.5 hours to Qinghai Lake. That salt water lying in northeast part of Qinghai – Tibet Plateau is the best known attraction in Qinghai to normal tourists. The birds island in the lake is the paradise for many kinds of birds. Each summer, thousands of birds fly to Qinghai Lake to escape from hot summer and the ground of grove will be covered with birds’ stool. And in August the lake area will be covered by golden rape flowers. You could optionally take a cruise ship to have some exciting time there. In the afternoon you will be escorted back to hotel.

Qinghai Lake - Day 3: Xining DepartureTa’er Monastery, Qinghai Museum (Breakfast)
In the morning after hotel pickup we will visit the Tibetan style Ta’er Monastery. In the first month, the fourth month, the six month or the ninth month of Chinese calendar, you will have chance to experience the royal temple fair in the temple. The last stop of your Xining tour will be Qinghai Museum. The collections and literal introduction in the museum will explain the Prehistoric civilization, the folk culture relics, and Tibetan Buddhism development in Qinghai. The museum is a best place to read the province’s past.
After then you will be escorted to airport/train station to depart to your next destination.
