Welcome to our 8 days Northern Xinjiang group tour! Please arrive Urumqi on your own. You will be collected from Urumqi Diwopu International Airport (URC) and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest time is free for you. You may like to check out the Xinjiang Bazaar, a symbol of Xinjiangās cultural diversity and unique ethnic flavor.

This morning, after breakfast, you will drive around 1.5 hours to the Heavenly LakeĀ (aka Tianchi Lake in Chinese) in Tianshan Mountain for a nature adventure. An alpine lake nestling in the Tianchi Lake National Park, the Heavenly Lake is a popular destination offering a brilliant display of snow-capped mountains, wildflowers, tree-blanketed valleys, and fabulous lake scenery. You can either hike around the lake and capture some photos, or take a boat to enjoy the charming views.
After touring the Heavenly Lake, head to Fuyun.

Start today with a drive to the Keketuohai National Geopark. If you are lucky, you may encounter herds of cattle on the way. Doesnāt this sound exciting?
Tour the Geopark leisurely, you will meet Irtysh River featuring granite landform, No. 3 Ore Scenic Area which is known as ānatural mineral museumā, and Fuyun earthquake fault zone with the best preserved earthquake fault zone remains and relics. Afterward, drive 3 hours to Burqin for staying overnight.

Today you will immerse into the picturesque beauty of Kanas Lake - a canāt miss for any Xinjiang trip. Donāt forget to take your camera!
After breakfast in the early morning, a 4-hour drive will take you to the Jiadengyu Forest Park for lunch. Then, a shuttle bus will take you to the long-anticipated Kanas Lake. Deep in the dense forest, Kanas Lake is amazingly beautiful and dotted with yurts and herds of horses and sheep. Different seasons, lights and temperatures will bring color changes to the lake.
After finishing the relaxing sightseeing, drive to the hotel for check-in.

Today, after breakfast, you will board a car to Hemu VillageĀ which is 30 km from Kanas Lake. The integration of the villageās green grassland to surrounding dense forest and misty snow-covered mountains make it a paradise for shutterbugs. There is a tranquil and mysterious charm preserved in the wooden houses and local Tuva people who have lived here for centuries. You will get a chance to stay overnight in a local cabin and experience the unique local lifestyle.

This morning get up early to appreciate the stunning sunrise view which would be an added bonus to your trip in Hemu Village. You can simply sit in a chair, gaze at the sun rise slowly from the rolling mountains, and empty your mind.
Then after breakfast, you will drive back to Burqin to enjoy the breathtaking sights of the Five-colored BeachĀ next to Irtysh River. Thanks to the various mineral types in this area, the rocks in Five-colored Beach are in different color tone. And it is especially incredible when in the sunshine, plus the wooden pathways zigzagging around the colorful rocks, providing various positions and angles for photo taking.
Finally, come to a Burqin local hotel for check-in.

Your Burqin adventure come to an end after breakfast this morning. Then drive back to Urumqi. Expect a long drive on the road. Take it easy, we will have some rest stops on the way.
Along the road you will pass by the famous oil city Karamay, and Gurbantunggut Desert. Then as we continue our drive, we will encounter the Urho Ghost CityĀ which is a wind erosion yardang landform. It is a shock to see pagodas, temples, pyramids, Angkor Wat, etc. being carved out of hummocks and dunes by wind erosion.
After visiting this horrifying site, continueĀ your return journey to Urumqi.
In the evening, check in a hotel in Urumqi and have a good rest.
