2 Days Chengdu Panda Tour from Xian by Bullet Train

Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Xian – Chengdu by Bullet Train
   Jinli Old Street, Jinsha Site Museum (No meal)

   AM: In the morning at 07:30, the driver in Xian will meet you in hotel lobby and transfer to North Xian Railway Station for the train D1917 (09:00-12:28) to Chengdu. Please get off the train at East Chengdu Station. The local guide will greet you at exit by holding the name board.

   Noon: Lunch on your own.

   PM: After train station pickup, you will be escorted to visit Jinsha Site Museum. The large numbers of unearthed cultural relics in the museum will explain some basic facts of Shu Kingdom in about 3000 years ago.

   After then you will pay a visit to Jinli Old Street. That street used to be one of the oldest and busiest commercial streets of Shu Kingdom. In that street tourists will see some typical elements of Chengdu lifestyle. E.g. Tea houses, taverns, bars, local snacks, handcrafts, local specialties, etc.

   When the visit ends, you will be escorted to hotel

   Accommodation: Hotel booked on you

   

2. Day 2: Chengdu Departure
   Chengdu Panda Breeding Center, Wuhou Temple (Lunch)

   AM: At around 08:30, our English speaking tour guide and driver will pick you up from Chengdu downtown hotel, and your amazing exploration begins!

   The first scenic site will be the exciting Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, which is well known for the protection and breeding of the endangered giant pandas which are unique to China. The base is definitely a highlight for most visitors to Chengdu. There are adorable pandas everywhere. You can watch them eating bamboo, playing with each other, and of course sleeping. Your tour guide will navigate you through the huge area, share some information about the pandas, and help you take amazing photos.

   Noon: Lunch in local restaurant.

   PM: Afterward we will pay a visit to Wuhou Temple – the memorial temple of Zhuge Liang, the outstanding strategist of Shu Kingdom in the Three Kingdoms Period (220-280).

   Last, transfer to Chengdu airport/ train station for departure.
