- Day 1: Terracotta Warriors and Big Wild Goose Pagoda
The dedicated guide will use a personalized sign to identify himself/herself when he/she meets you at Xian airport or train station. Then take you to your first attraction - the Terracotta Warriors and Horses.
This underground marvel was found by farmers who were digging a well. Stepping into the museum, you will see the clay armies standing ready to defend the tomb of China's first emperor. The measurements show that each warrior in this collection has an average height of 178 centimeters while their facial expressions differ from one another.

After you complete your study of ancient history,Ā proceed to experience special cuisine of Lintong district such as pomegranate juice and Xiekou soup noodles. After lunch, go back to downtown Xian to admire the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. During the Tang Dynasty (618-907), this landmark was built to preserve Buddhist scriptures that the monk Xuanzang brought from India. The surrounding area includes gardens and temples where you can explore and relax. The guide will explain to you how the pagoda spread Buddhism through China and its importance to Chinese culture.
The pagoda also allows you to see city panoramic views from its top at an extra fee (optional).
