Beijing Daxing International Airport is the second largest aviation hub in the city, after Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK). It came into service in 2019, initially handling flights transferred from Beijing Nanyuan Airport (closed the same year). Today, Daxing Airport is operating over 150 air routes, including 30 international routes leading to major cities in Southeast Asia, Western Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

Daxing International Airport is located in the southern suburb of Beijing, 46 kilometers away from the downtown area. Because of the special location, this new airport in Beijing is able to serve not only the capital city but also the neighboring areas in Hebei and Tianjin.

How to Transit at Beijing Daxing International Airport? – Transfer Guide at PKX

• Domestic to Domestic:

1. After your flight to Beijing arrives, pick up the baggage at “Luggage Claim” area;
2. Check in at the transfer zone south of the No. 30 Carousel;
3. Go through security check;
4. Find the boarding gate and wait for your flight.

Note: If your baggage is to be delivered directly to the destination airport, you only need to confirm the boarding gate of the onward flight and wait in the departure lounge.
