Tour Overview
Travel to Beijing with families including small kids? Want a tour interesting enough for children and also filled with knowledge for adults? This is private day tour with attractions in Beijing downtown area is right for you. Taking this tour, you will visit Capital Museum, Yonghe Palace, Panda House in Beijing Zoo and Jinshan Park,
AM: In the morning, your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby in Beijing City area.
Today’s first stop will be Capital Museum(close on each Monday). It was built on site of Beijing Confucius Temple. Through the 5000+ exhibition relics, you will learn about the city’s history and development, Chinese folk culture, Chinese traditional ceramic artworks, etc. That would be a great visual and spiritual feast.
Next stop will be Yonghe Palace (also called Lama Temple) where two emperors of the Qing Dynasty bore. Yonghe Palace is also called The Lama Temple because it was translated into the largest Buddhist temple in Beijing in Mid and Late Qing Dynasty.
Noon: Lunch in a local restaurant.
PM: After lunch, continue to visit lovely pandas in Panda House of Beijing Zoo. You will see adult pandas, young pandas, and panda family.
At last, pay a visit to Jingshan Park at the opposite street of the Forbidden City. In ancient time, Jingshan Park and its ancillary buildings not only served as a royal garden for visitors, but also had multiple functions such as learning shooting, offering sacrifices to ancestors, official learning, opera and regional activities, etc.
When the tour ends, you will be escorted back to hotel.
Kind Notice: Capital Museum close on Mondays. You can either skip the museum to end the tour earlier, or you can visit other site instead of the museum.
