After your breakfast please meet the guide in the hotel at 09:00. Today you will visit the three most highlight sites in the downtown city. The first stop is the 600-year-old Xi’an City Wall. It is the most completely preserved and the largest city wall in China. As you ascend the ancient City Wall, relish in the breathtaking views of the cityscape. The wall, adorned with watchtowers and battlements, offers a glimpse into China’s rich history. Optionally, feel the wind in your hair as you cycle atop the wall, an experience that combines exercise with historical immersion. Then you will take a bus or Metro to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a structure that stands as a symbol of ancient Xi’an. Built during the Tang Dynasty, this pagoda served as a repository for Buddhist scriptures brought back from India by the monk Xuanzang. Its architecture, characterized by intricate carvings and soaring height, reflects the cultural exchange between China and India.
Lunch will be at your own expense (feel free to ask your guide for recommendations)
After lunch on your own, you will take a bus or walk to visit Shaanxi History Museum. The entire building is in the architectural features of the Tang Dynasty. It is a treasure of the cultural heritage of Shaanxi Province and shows the development of the Chinese civilization. Inside the Museum, explore the diverse collection of artifacts, ranging from ancient pottery to intricately carved sculptures. Your guide will offer context and historical background, enriching your understanding of China’s vibrant past.
Lastly, you will be escorted back to your hotel by 18:00.

* Nearby Big Wild Goose Pagoda there are many local restaurants and several western fast food restaurants. You may have lunch there.
* The tour cost excludes the public transfer fee. Please bring some change on the touring day. Like 1-yuan, 5-yuan, and 10-yuan. 1-yuan is used when taking the bus, and CNY 5 is used when taking the metro. With the help of our guide, you will buy the bus ticket and Metro ticket on your own.
* Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
