How to Get to Wangxian Valley

No matter where you’re traveling from, you’ll have to get to Shangrao (上饶) first. It’s the closest and most practical gatewaty and then you can take the ride-hailing service (CNY 100-150/ USD 14.63-21.95) or shuttle bus (CNY 30/USD 4.39) to reach Wangxian Valley.

Tip: the bus station and the train station are connected. There are signs in English guiding you to the bus station once you get off the train.

From Shanghai and Hangzhou: take a high-speed train to travel directly to Shangrao (3 hours from Shanghai, 2 hours from Hangzhou), then take a local bus or taxi to Wangxian Valley (1-2 hours).

From Beijing: If traveling from Beijing, the best choice would be a flight. There’s one direct flight to Shangrao Sanqingshan Airport every day, which takes around 2 hours. Traveling by high-speed train is also possible, but it’ll take around 6 hours, making it a less recommended choice. After arrival, still take a bus or taxi ride to the valley.
