Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Guiyang Arrival
   Jiaxiu Tower, Qingyan Ancient Town

   Welcome to our 14-day Guizhou and Yunnan tour! Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel where you can rest and relax after your journey.

   If you have time and energy, you can explore the city on your own. Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou province, is known for its rich history, cultural heritage, and delicious local cuisine. You can visit the Jiaxiu Tower and Qingyan Ancient Town, or sample local snacks at the night market.

2. Day 2: Guiyang - Anshun - Guiyang
   Huangguoshu Scenic Area, Tianxingqiao Scenic Area

   Depart from your hotel early in the morning and drive for 2 hours to Anshun, a city located in western Guizhou. Your today's first stop will be the Huangguoshu Scenic Area, which is home to the Huangguoshu Waterfall, the largest waterfall in Asia. Explore the area deeply and take in the stunning karst formations, including the Doupotang Waterfall and the Water-Curtain Cave.

   

   Next, you will visit the Tianxingqiao Scenic Area, which features a beautiful landscape of Silver-Chain Waterfall, natural bridges, and caves. You can take a cable car to explore the area or hike through the natural scenery. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture the picturesque scenery.

3. Day 3: Guiyang - Kaili
   Langde Miao Village

   After breakfast, drive 3 hours to Kaili to visit Langde Miao Village, which is known for its rich Miao culture and traditional architecture. Wander the village and explore its winding alleys and stilted houses. You can also enjoy welcome rice wine and watch a traditional Miao dance performance.

4. Day 4: Kaili Miao Village Tour
   Qianhu Miao Village

   Today, you will be arranged to visit Qianhu Miao Village, considered to be the largest Miao ethnic group in China. You can climb the observation deck for a panoramic view of the village and the surrounding countryside.

   

   Also, walk through the stilted buildings and experience wearing traditional Miao costumes. You will learn about the Miao people's culture and way of life by visiting their homes, watching them weave, and listening to their folk songs.

5. Day 5: Kaili - Libo
   Xiaoqikong Scenic Area

   Check out your hotel and then drive for 3.5 hours to Libo, a city located in southern Guizhou.

   Your first stop today will be the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, which features an ancient bridge, a 68-level waterfall, and a rare water forest. Hike along the scenic trails and take in the natural beauty of the area. Besides, you can explore the water forest by boat (at your own expense) and take in the breathtaking scenery from a different perspective.

   

   In the afternoon, you can visit the nearby villages on your own and learn about the local ethnic groups, including the Buyi, Miao, and Yao.

6. Day 6: Libo - Guiyang
   Daqikong Scenic Area

   After breakfast, you will be transferred to visit the Daqikong Scenic Area, which features primitive forests, underground rivers, and canyons. Take a leisurely stroll through the natural scenery and admire the unique rock formations, waterfalls, and streams. You can also take a boat to explore the area and appreciate the natural masterpieces of the region.

   

   In the evening, enjoy a farewell buffet dinner with your travel companions to celebrate the end of your journey.

7. Day 7: Guiyang - Lijiang
   Lijiang Old Town, Dayan Ancient Town

   After breakfast, take a flight to Lijiang, a beautiful city in Yunnan Province known for its ancient towns and picturesque landscapes.

   Check in to your hotel and enjoy your free time exploring Lijiang Old Town, which is filled with narrow lanes, traditional architecture, and shops selling local handicrafts.

   

   In the evening, visit the Dayan Ancient Town, which dates back to the 13th century and has preserved the unique culture and architecture of the Naxi people.

8. Day 8: Lijiang - Tiger Leaping Gorge - Lijiang
   Dayan Ancient Town, Tiger Leaping Gorge

   After breakfast, take a morning tour of Dayan Ancient Town. Climb the ancient building, which is the highest point of the entire old town, and enjoy a panoramic view of Lijiang Old Town. Or roam around Lijiang and soak in the charm of the old town.

   In the afternoon, drive 2 hours to Tiger Leaping Gorge, which is famous for its dramatic scenery and hiking trails. After the visit, drive back to Lijiang in the evening.

9. Day 9: Lijiang - Jade Dragon Snow Mountain
   Impressions Lijiang, Yulong Snow Mountain

   Today, you will watch Impressions Lijiang, a stunning large-scale live performance. You'll have VIP seats from the best perspective to enjoy the show.

   

   After the performance, take a cable car to the main peak of Yulong Snow Mountain, which is one of the most famous peaks in Yunnan. We will provide an oxygen cylinder for everyone as the high altitude may cause altitude sickness. Then, take a sightseeing bus to visit Blue Moon Valley, a scenic area known for its crystal clear waters and breathtaking views.

10. Day 10: Lijiang - Dali
    Three Course Tea, Experience Tie-dye

    Drive 2.5 hours to Dali, a charming ancient town located on the shores of Erhai Lake.

    Take a guided tour of some Dali Bai villages, where you will be welcomed by the "Three Course Tea," a traditional Bai tea ceremony that includes sweet, sour, and bitter teas. Enjoy tea art performances and taste local tea. Experience making handmade tie-dye, a traditional handicraft of the Bai nationality.

11. Day 11: Dali Tour
    Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, Dali Old Town, Xizhou Ancient Town

    After breakfast, visit the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, which are located in the beautiful Cangshan Mountain Range. These pagodas are one of the most iconic landmarks of Dali and date back to the 9th century. After that, explore Dali Old Town, surrounded by ancient city walls and filled with traditional architecture, shops, and restaurants.

    

    In the afternoon, enjoy afternoon tea on a terrace in Xizhou Ancient Town, which is known for its Bai-style houses and beautiful countryside. Take a carriage ride through the countryside, take a walk by the Erhai Lake seaside, and capture the sunset.

12. Day 12: Dali - Kunming
    Kunming Lake

    Take a high-speed train to Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan Province. You'll have the day to explore the city at your leisure. Visit Kunming Lake, a scenic spot with gardens, pagodas, and a man-made lake. You can also explore the local food scene, as Kunming is known for its diverse cuisine.

13. Day 13: Kunming Tour
    Stone Forest, Jiuxiang Karst Caves

    First, visit a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its unique limestone formations that resemble a forest - Stone Forest. This natural wonder is over 270 million years old and covers an area of 96,000 acres.

    

    After that, visit Jiuxiang Karst Caves, a series of caves and waterfalls located on the outskirts of Kunming. You'll be able to appreciate the underground terraces and learn about the geological history of the area.

14. Day 14: Kunming Departure

    On your last day, you will check out from your hotel and then head to Kunming Changshui International Airport for your departure flight. You will be assisted by your tour guide to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey to the airport.
