Is Harbin only suitable for a winter tour?
Generally speaking the peak tourist season of Harbin is in winter due to the snow scenery and the Ice & Snow Festival. Actually summer is also a nice time to visit the city. If you are mainly interested in the city’s history, traveling there in summer would be nice. This Harbin Day Tour is suitable for a short stay in Harbin, and will bring you a special experience. AM: In the morning, our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby. After pickup you will be escorted to visit Sophia Church, a typical Byzantine architecture style Orthodox Church built in 1907 by Russian. From the life of the church one will read history of Harbin and even northeast part of China. Afterward you will take a walk along the Central Street, on the street you will meet many old buildings built in various western styles.
Noon: Lunch at local restaurant.
PM: After lunch, we will continue the visit to Sun Island Park. The park area used to be a famous summer resort among local people. And nowadays the park becomes more famous due to the Ice & Snow Art Gallery. In that indoor ice & snow artwork exhibition you will get an impression of the city’s winter. The gigantic ice carvings of buildings, animals, and fantasy figures in the gallery are especially loved by visitors. When your visiting ends, you will be escorted back to hotel.

Great tour! A bus was on time to pick us up from our hotel and drove us to each destination. Noble was our tour guide and he not only provided information on each attraction, but was also able to answer any questions we had (we had a lot!).

I have had a wonderful day trip to Xi'an from Shanghai, all arranged by China Xi'an Tour including hotel pick up and transfer back, flights and lunch. Ms. Grace (travel consultant) was very helpful in arranging the best trip for me and my family in Xi'an. The tour guide, Mr. Joe and the driver too were both very friendly and helpful to us. As we are travelling with 2 young children. Both of them were very patient (i.e. we can't walk too fast, we need to use baby stroller etc). Definitely will recommend them to friends.

The tour guide assign to us was very knowledgeable on the history of the places that we had visited and that was very important to us as this trip was mainly to expose our 2 boys to appreciate the Chinese history.
