Tour Overview
The Jinshanling Great Wall is the most essential part of the Great Wall, known as the “The Magnificent Jinshan is unique on the Great Wall”. Barrier walls, text bricks and stone blocking horses are the three must-sees of the Jinshanling Great Wall, and are known as the “Photography Lovers’ Paradise”. Jinshanling Great Wall is famous not only for its great wide vision but also its lengendary history of the famous General Qi Jiguang of Ming Dynasty. It’s also an ideal place for hiking and photography lover. This one day hiking tour includes Jinshanling Great wall, lunch and hotel pickup& drop off service. Hiking with a group of friends, you would have more time to enjoy the hiking at slower pace. Come to join us!
AM: At around 7am, our English speaking tour guide and driver will pick you up from the downtown hotel (if your hotel is beyond the second ring road of Beijing city, please come to the appointed meeting place to meet the guide and driver). And then drive to Jinshanling Great Wall to do the hiking day tour.
Jinshanling Great Wall is located about 130 km from downtown Beijing. The Jinshanling Great Wall was first constructed built in the Ming Dynasty. The famous general, Xu Da, of the early Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) supervised and directed the construction of the Great Wall. Later, Qi Jiguang led a number of defense works while guarding the north area in 1567. You will hike the east section of Jinshanling Great Wall. The round trip hike is about 10 km and takes about 4 hours. Each tower has its unique feature and look. There are relatively less crowded here at Jinshanling Great Wall.
Noon: Simple Chinese lunch.
PM: In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to Beijing city area and drop off along the subway station or at Wangfujing.

Great tour! A bus was on time to pick us up from our hotel and drove us to each destination. Noble was our tour guide and he not only provided information on each attraction, but was also able to answer any questions we had (we had a lot!).

I have had a wonderful day trip to Xi'an from Shanghai, all arranged by China Xi'an Tour including hotel pick up and transfer back, flights and lunch. Ms. Grace (travel consultant) was very helpful in arranging the best trip for me and my family in Xi'an. The tour guide, Mr. Joe and the driver too were both very friendly and helpful to us. As we are travelling with 2 young children. Both of them were very patient (i.e. we can't walk too fast, we need to use baby stroller etc). Definitely will recommend them to friends.

The tour guide assign to us was very knowledgeable on the history of the places that we had visited and that was very important to us as this trip was mainly to expose our 2 boys to appreciate the Chinese history.
