  1. Welcome to Changsha, the capital city of Hunan province! Upon your arrival at the airport, your friendly guide and driver will be waiting to greet you. They will then transfer you to your hotel in Changsha, where you can check-in and freshen up after your journey. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city at your own pace.

    You may wish to take a stroll along the bustling streets, try out some local delicacies, or visit nearby attractions. Changsha has a vibrant nightlife, so you might also want to experience the city's evening entertainment options.

  2. After breakfast at your hotel, we'll start our city tour by visiting the Hunan Provincial Museum. This museum is a treasure trove of artifacts and exhibits showcasing the rich history and culture of Hunan province. You'll have the opportunity to learn about ancient civilizations, traditional craftsmanship, and influential figures from the region's past.

  3. Today, we'll embark on a journey to Zhangjiajie, but first, we'll make a stop at Shaoshan, the hometown of Chairman Mao Zedong, the founding father of the People's Republic of China.

    In the morning, we'll drive about 1.5 hours to Shaoshan. Our first stop here will be the Water-dripping Cave, a scenic spot known for its natural beauty and historical significance. It is said that Chairman Mao once took shelter in this cave during his youth.

    Next, we'll visit the Former Residence of Mao Zedong, a traditional Hunan-style house where Mao spent his early years. The residence has been turned into a museum and offers insight into his early life and revolutionary activities.

    Afterwards, we'll explore Mao's Family Ancestral Hall, an important ancestral temple for the Mao family. The hall reflects the traditional architecture and cultural heritage of the region.

    In the afternoon, we'll leave Shaoshan and continue our journey to Zhangjiajie, which will take approximately 4.5 hours. Once we arrive in Zhangjiajie City, you can rest and prepare for the upcoming adventures in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

  4. Get ready for an exciting day of exploring Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, also known as the "Avatar Mountains" due to its resemblance to the floating mountains depicted in the movie "Avatar."

    After breakfast, we'll take a cable car up to Huangshi Village, where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the unique sandstone pillars and lush forests. The stunning scenery is sure to leave you in awe.

    Next, we'll head to Golden Whip Stream, a picturesque valley with crystal-clear waters, lush vegetation, and towering cliffs. Take a leisurely walk along the stream, and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area.

    In the afternoon, we'll head to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon to experience the famous Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge.   5. Today, we'll explore the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, another highlight of Zhangjiajie.

    We'll start by experiencing the Bailong Elevator, which is a unique glass elevator built into the side of a cliff. It holds the record for being the tallest outdoor elevator in the world, offering breathtaking views as you ascend.

    Next, we'll visit Yuanjiajie, famous for its towering sandstone pillars and lush greenery. This area served as inspiration for the "Hallelujah Mountains" in the movie "Avatar."

    Later, we'll take a sightseeing bus to visit Tianzi Mountain, known for its awe-inspiring peaks and cloud-shrouded vistas. The cool breeze and beautiful scenery will make this an unforgettable experience.

    After a full day of exploration, your guide and driver will escort you back to your hotel, where you can relax and reminisce about the amazing sights you've witnessed.

    After the cave visit, we'll embark on a 3.5-hour journey to Fenghuang Ancient Town, a picturesque town steeped in history and culture. Upon arrival, your guide will help you check in to your hotel, and you'll have the rest of the day to explore this charming ancient town at your own pace. Wander through the cobblestone streets, admire the well-preserved wooden houses, and soak in the unique atmosphere of this riverside town.

    Next, we'll visit the Former Residence of Shen Congwen, a renowned Chinese writer who once called Fenghuang home. This residence provides insight into the life and works of the literary figure.

    Afterwards, we'll have a look at Rainbow Bridge, East Gate Tower, and Wanming Pagoda, among other cultural highlights of the town. You'll have some free time to take in the last views and explore any spots you may have missed.

    In the afternoon, we'll drive back to Zhangjiajie City, where your guide will accompany you to the airport or train station for your onward journey or return home.
