Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Shanghai Arrival
   Explore Shanghai's Past in Museum and Garden

   Ni Hao! Welcome to our well-designed 2-day Shanghai layover tour. Your private guide and driver will pick you up from the airport or train station and take you to start a great time in Shanghai.

   We will begin the Shanghai trip with the Shanghai Museum. Covering an area of 12,000 square meters, the museum has 4 exhibition areas showcasing various cultural relics from 10,000 years ago to the early 20th century. You can see bronze ware, ceramics, calligraphy, painting, jade artifacts, etc., and learn about ancient Chinese culture and art through the wonderful explanations of the tour guide.

   

   Then, be transferred to Yuyuan Garden. This over 400-year-old classical Chinese garden was originally built in the Ming Dynasty by the owner Pan Yunduan for his parents to enjoy later life. We will wander around to enjoy the beautiful scenery and visit Zigzag Bridge, Great Rockery, Jade Rock, Sansui Hall, etc.

   Nearby the garden is Yuyuan Market, a bustling marketplace set in an old Chinese neighborhood with traditional architecture and shops selling everything from local snacks to various souvenirs. After the visit,  escort you to a local hotel.

   

2. Day 2: Shanghai Departure
   Take a Glance at the Modernization of This Metropolis

   After breakfast, follow your guide to ascend the Shanghai World Financial Center (SWFC), with a height of 492 meters and 101 floors. We will take the elevator to the sightseeing platform at a maximum speed of 8 meters per second. Experience a walking-in-the-air experience on the 55-meter-long suspended sightseeing corridor on the 100^th floor.

   Then wander around Nanjing Road to see traditional department stores and optionally try some authentic Shanghai snacks.

   The last stop is the Bund. You will admire buildings of various styles, enjoy the amazing scenery, and listen to your guide explaining its history.

   At the end of the Shanghai tour, transfer you to the airport, train station, or cruise port. Our service will end here. Wish you a pleasant journey.
