Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Beijing to Guilin by Flight
At the confirmed time, our Beijing driver will pick you up from the downtown hotel and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Guilin.
Upon arrival, the Guilin local driver will meet you at the exit gate by holding a welcome board and send you to the downtown hotel for check-in. You will be free and easy on your own for the rest of the day.

- Day 2: Hike the Longji Rice TerracesEnjoy Beautiful Terrace Views and Watch a Long Hair Show
Today you will spend the whole day in the beautiful Longji Rice Terraces. It takes about 1.5 hours to drive. Itās amazing to think that people were able to farm these remote mountains more than 2,000 years ago. Today, the terraces not only support local farmers but also offer a peaceful escape for visitors.
When you arrive, follow your guide to hike along the stone paths and admire the magnificent terraced fields. In Huangluo Village, watch a special Long Hair Show performed by Yao women, who are proud of their shiny, long hair.
After that, get to try local Bamboo-Tube-Cooked rice. The rice is soaked, placed inside fresh bamboo, sealed with leaves. After a 30-minute cook over fire, the sweet smell of the rice fills the air when the bamboo is cut open. At the end of the day, we drive back to your hotel in downtown Guilin.

Longji Rice Terraces - Day 3: Guilin to Yangshuo by CruiseEnjoy a 4-Hour Cruise along the Limestone Peaks
After breakfast, emabrk on a 3-star cruise ship at around 8:30 a.m. A 4-hour Li River cruise is the best way to enjoy the beautiful views of Guilin - stunning limestone hills on both sides of the river. Along the way, take pictures at the famous spot shown on the 20 Yuan banknote. You might also see idyllic scenes like fishermen using cormorants to catch fish and water buffalo working in the fields. Have a light buffet lunch on the boat.
Li River Cruise Youāll arrive in Yangshuo around 1 p.m. The guide will then take you to explore West Street, which keeps the old charm of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Youāll see stone-paved paths, old-style homes, carved stone signs, ancient pavilions, and houses once lived in by famous people. Feel free to relax and enjoy the bars, restaurants, and cafĆ©s around you.
In the evening, if you're interested, you can choose to watch the amazing outdoor show Impression of Liu Sanjie. The performance takes place on the Li River, with 12 mountain peaks and the open sky as the backdrop. Using lights, music, and special effects, the show tells stories of Guangxiās ethnic cultures.

- Day 4: Guilin DepartureExplore the City Highlights ā Cave and Hill
Check out from the hotel in Yangshuo after breakfast. Drive back to Guilin city to visit Reed Flute Cave. The cave is 240 meters deep and its formation has gone through a long period of time. About one million years ago, this was an underground lake. Nowadays, you can see a large number of beautiful and colorful stalagmites, stalactites, stone pillars, and stone curtains. People praise Reed Flute Cave as a natural palace of art.
Afterwards, we will visit the iconic landscape of Guilin, Elephant Trunk Hill, located at the confluence of the Li River and Taohua River. It is named after its appearance resembling an elephant drinking river water. There is a hole in the front of the mountain, curved like a full moon. After the visit, we will escort you to the airport. The 4-day Guilin trip from Beijing ends here. Have a great trip!
