Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Harbin Arrival

   Ni Hao, welcome to our 4-day Harbin winter tour! Upon your arrival in Harbin, our guide and driver will meet you at the airport/train station and escort you to the hotel. Please enjoy your free time for the rest of the day.

   You are recommended to watch the Ice Lantern Parade (from Jan.5th to the end of Feb), which is held every winter in Zhaolin Park. On that occasion, you will see a variety of creations carved by artists such as castles, walls, and houses as well as a wealth of characters and cartoons. Apart from that, you can also experience fun programs such as ice slides, ice bumper cars, and ice bikes.

2. Day 2: Harbin Ice Festival Tour
   Admire Ice and Snow Sculpture during Harbin Ice Festival

   After breakfast, your guided Harbin tour begins with Northeast Tiger Park, the world's largest artificial breeding base for Northeast tigers. Over 1,000 Siberian tigers are living here, and more than 300 of them are open to the public. The tour guide will give you an overview of the survival status of Northeast tigers in China.

   Then, go to join the International Snow Sculpture Expo in Sun Island Park, which is one of the highlights of the annual Harbin Ice and Snow Festival. You can enjoy many realistic and stunning snow sculptures in different attention areas. Also, you can pay extra to experience entertainment activities such as slides and snow off-road vehicles.

   

   After that, take a walk on Central Street, which is a bustling pedestrian street in Harbin. Here, you can see many old buildings built in various Western styles built in the early 1900s. Saint Sophia Church is a landmark of the city, which is a typical Byzantine building with a huge green onion-head dome. We will only admire it from the outside.

   In the evening, it's time to enjoy the amazing Ice & Snow World. There are various kinds of ice sculptures, exciting snow entertainment projects, and interesting themed performances. Stroll around to enjoy the world's finest examples of ice art against the dazzling lights.

   Be aware of the longer queues during peak hours, especially during the traditional Chinese Lunar New Year and weekends.

3. Day 3: Harbin Ski Tour to Jihua Resort
   Enjoy the Exciting Skiing at One of Chin'a Best Ski Resorts

   After breakfast, drive around 1.5 hours to the Jihua Ski Resort to enjoy the exciting skiing.

   Located 38 kilometers away from Harbin City, Jihua Ski Resort is one of the best ski resorts in China and is known as the "hometown of skiing in China". The 15 different ski slopes will meet all skiers’ needs, no matter what your level is, beginner or master. Even if you don’t know how to ski at all, the coach will give you a one-to-one class upon your requirements.

   Friendly Tip: Only the main entrance ticket to Jihua Ski Resort is included in the tour package. You are supposed to pay all the skiing fees on your own.

4. Day 4: Harbin Departure
   Watch Winter Swimming, Learn about the History of the Ice City

   Winter swimming is one of the most popular sports in Harbin. This morning, you will enjoy a nice winter swimming performance in the Songhua River.

   The next site on today's Harbin tour will be the highlight of today - Heilongjiang Provincial Museum. The main building of Baroque style in the museum was built based on a Russian shopping mall. It has become a first-class state-protected architecture and houses more than 627,982 pieces of collections including historical relics, artworks, and natural specimens. You will learn more about Heilongjiang after this visit.

   

   Last, pay a visit to Hongbo Square, a super large comprehensive underground commerce center combining trading, dining, and entertainment. There is a landmark building at the center of the square, a glass house with a stainless steel ball on its top. Many famous brands have stores on the square. You can get some nice things here if you like.

   After all these activities, you will be dropped off at Harbin airport/train station for departure. This is the end of your 4-day Harbin winter ski tour.
