Dragon Tower

Dragon Tower, also known as the Heilongjiang Radio and Television Tower, is located in the economic and technological development zone of Harbin, Heilongjiang province. As the famous landmark building of Harbin, the tower is 336 meters high, which is a multi-functional tower integrating radio and television transmission, tourism, entertainment, advertising, environmental monitoring, microwave communication and wireless communication. On November 8, 2008, it was formally approved to join the world high tower association,becoming a world-famous tower.

Basic Facts about the Dragon Tower:

  • The total area of dragon tower is 15,991 square meters, including 12,951 square meters of tower base and 3,040 square meters of thetower building, which is an octahedral-shape. The tower building is located at 181 to 206 meters and consists of a lower tower shaped like a flying saucer and a circular upper tower, and the antennas are set at 220.5m to 336m. It is also equipped with a sightseeing elevator running 2.5 meters per second for visitors.
  • On the first floor arethe “altar of the descendants of yan di and huang di”, which is the only landscape exhibition that is in”yan di and huang di” theme in Heilongjiang On the second floor, there is a”beautiful Heilongjiang” scenery exhibition with a total length of 269.2 meters and a total area of 716.435 square meters, which shows the charming landscape of Heilongjiang. There also has a “northeastern dialect” corridor showing the unique features of the northeast dialect.
  • There are also many interesting tourism projectsfor visitors to try,such as the 181-meter sightseeing platform, where there is an exciting “transparent glass skywalk”. With a circumference of more than 60 meters, it is the longest glass skywalk in the world.
  • There is a sky rotary restaurant on the 186-meter. With an area of 1,256 square meters, this restaurant is the world’s largest rotaryrestaurant, whichcan accommodate 350 people to have a meal at the same time.
  • And if you want to enjoy the panoramic view of Harbin,a 190-meter sightseeing platform is the best place for you, where it also has the “dragons rising and tigers leaping”project–visitors can walk around on the circle platform to overlook the city from a 360-degree perspective.
  • What’s more, on the 206-meter, there is ablessing hall, which is the highest blessing hall in China. And visitors here can play the highest swing in China on the 210-meter sightseeing platform.
