  1. Welcome to Xian! Upon your arrival, our driver will welcome you at the airport, displaying a sign with your name. Subsequently, you will be accompanied to your downtown Xian hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

In the morning, our local guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby and then transfer you to visit the most famous and must-see spot - the Terracotta Army, an extraordinary archaeological site that dates back more than two millennia to the Qin Dynasty. Renowned as the eighth wonder of the world, it features thousands of life-sized clay soldiers, horses, and chariots, crafted to accompany Emperor Qin Shi Huang in the afterlife. Here you can explore three excavation pits, each revealing distinct formations of soldiers. The museum also offers insight into ancient Chinese military history. The intricately detailed statues, each possessing unique features, provide a captivating glimpse into the grandeur of China's imperial past.

    After your Xian terracotta tour, savor a Chinese-style lunch, and head to our next destination -- the Ancient City Wall. This impressive structure stands as the sole surviving and complete city wall in China, boasting the title of the world's largest and most comprehensive military defense system.   3. Following an authentic Xian breakfast, your local guide will lead you to explore a vibrant local market, offering insights into how locals procure their daily food staples. Encounter a variety of vegetables, some possibly unfamiliar, as you discover their roles in local cuisine. This presents an opportunity to acquire ingredients for your upcoming cooking class and hone your bargaining skills.

    Post-market excursion, your Xian local tour  offers a local family visit (grouped individuals may join different families) for you to delve into the art of crafting Chinese dishes. The primary focus is on dumpling-making, with potential additional lessons in stir-frying, featuring dishes like Kung Pao Chicken or Stir-Fried Three Fresh Vegetables with Oyster Sauce.     After a nice lunch, we will go to visit the Shaanxi History Museum, a treasure trove of China's rich historical legacy. Spanning over 1,100,000 square feet, the museum showcases artifacts from various dynasties, including exquisite bronze ware, pottery, jade, and ancient murals. Visitors can delve into the profound history of Shaanxi Province, exploring the evolution of Chinese culture and civilization. The museum's architectural elegance, combined with its extensive exhibits, provides an immersive journey through time, making it a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts and those eager to unravel the mysteries of China's past. Then, visit the nearby Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which was built to store the scriptures and statues brought back by Xuan Zang from India. It’s one of the famous Buddhist pagodas in China. At the end of the day, transfer back to your Xian hotel.

  4. After breakfast at 8:30 am, our English-speaking guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel, reaching Mt. Huashan by 10:30 am. A cable car ascent to the North Peak is scheduled, where you'll have the freedom to explore the captivating mountain vistas. The North Peak boasts cultural highlights like Buddhist and Taoist temples, sculptures, and engravings. Discover scenic wonders on the four peaks, including the iconic Gold Lock Pass where you can acquire a golden lock to symbolize safety. The Middle Peak offers a supernatural ambiance, perfect for witnessing a breathtaking sunset. Continue your ascent to the East, South, and West Peaks. A meeting point at the North Peak with the guide awaits, followed by a cable car descent.

    Noon: It's advisable to bring provisions for the climb; lunch is self-provided.

    Enjoy leisure time atop the mountain until approximately 5:00 pm, when the driver will be waiting at the exit gate for your return transfer to Xi’an City.

    After a day filled with cultural immersion and exploration, relax as you are escorted back to your hotel in Xi'an.
