Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Beijing ArrivalTemple of Heaven (No meal)
Arriving in Beijing, our driver will hold a welcome sign with your name at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Beijing. Free for the rest of the day.

- Day 2: BeijingTiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Kungfu Show at Red Theater (Lunch)
AM: Meet tour guide at hotel lobby after breakfast. Today begins with Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. After a short sightseeing at Tiananmen Square to learn about its history, architecture and anecdotes, you will walk across the Golden Water Bridge and come to the splendid Forbidden City built 600 years ago, where you will be impressed by the gorgeous imperial palaces and vast storage of historical relics.
Next stop is Temple of Heaven where Emperors of the Ming and the Qing Dynasties prayed for agriculture harvest from Heaven yearly.
Noon: Lunch in local rstaurant.
PM: After lunch, visit the Summer palace. It is the largest and best-preserved royal park in China for emperors’ entertainment with centralized architectural masterpieces.
In the evening, you will be escorted to Red Theater to see a Kungfu Show. Afterwards escort back to your hotel.

Temple of Heaven - Day 3: BeijingDingling Tomb, Mutianyu Great Wall (Lunch)
AM: At 8am, our English speaking tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby. Today begins with the famous world’s heritage – Mutianyu Great Wall. It is the most scenic part of Chinese Great Wall. It was built in the early Ming Dynasty at 1368 and stretches 5400 meters. 90% of the Mutianyu Great Wall is covered by vegetation. So in each season this part of the Great Wall will treat visitors with its unique scenery. The usual suggested hiking time is 2 hours on the wall. Cable car is available and optional (cost on your own). If hiking is too much for you, cable car is available and optional.
Noon: Lunch in local restaurant.
PM: After lunch, come to visit Dingling Tomb, one of the most visited Ming Tombs in Beijing. It is the only officially excavated one among the 13 Ming Tombs. Finally, return to hotel.

Mutianyu Great Wall - Day 4: Beijing – Xian by G651 (06:58-12:50)Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Show (Dinner)
AM: In the early morning you will be transferred to Beijing train station to take high speed train to Xian (suggested G653/7:43-13:51 or train with simliar schedule).
PM: Arriving in Xian, meet your local guide and driver and then drive about 50 mins to the No.1 highlight of Xian: Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. It was praised as “the eighth major miracle of the world” including Vault 1, 2 and 3 with the total area of 22,780 square meters, showing a surprisingly high level in sculpture.Terracotta Warriors, beyond the doubt, is the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century. You will stay in the museum for 2-3 hours.
Evening: This evening, you will participate one of the most welcomed night activities: Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Show. The dumpling dinner is served firstly in dinning hall. Afterwards, move to performing hall to watch the Tang Dynasty Show. Finally, you will be escorted back to hotel.

Terracotta Warriors and Horses - Day 5: XianShaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Xian City Wall, Muslim Quarter (Lunch)
AM: Our English-speaking guide and the driver will pick you up from your hotel in Xian and then transfer you to Shaanxi History Museum, which displays the longest history of China. It possesses a huge collection, ranking 6st among the whole museums of the nationwide. Afterwards go to visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a well preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. It was build to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and traveler Xuanzang.
Noon: Lunch in local restaurant.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda PM: After lunch, continue to visit Xian Ancient City Wall. It is the most completely preserved and the largest city wall in China. It was built for the military defense in the ancient time. Biking on City Wall is optional. At last you will take a walk in the best known food street in Xian – Muslim Quarter. Your stomach will be surprised by various food and snacks.
