Mukeng Bamboo Forest, also known as southern Anhui bamboo forest, is 5 kilometers away from Hongcun ancient village and 15 kilometers away from the Qian County. Surrounded by lush and green bamboos, the main scenic area covers an area of 6 square kilometers. Because of the charming natural scenery, it attracts many celebrities, photographers or film and television experts every year. It is also the shooting location of the bamboo sea in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, which won the best foreign language film at the 73rd annual Academy Awards.   • The shape of Mukeng bamboo sea is like a funnel. The main tour route of Mukengbamboo sea is circular, so there is no need to go back to the former road. The areais divided into three main part: west sea, Mukeng village and south sea. Generally, visitors start from the west sea, then climb the viewing platform to enjoy the breath-taking view of bamboo forest, and go downhill to the Mukeng village.

The scenic area is also equippedwith a glass bridge that is 200 meters long and 80 meters above the ground.
