Chinese New Year (Spring Festival)Ā starts from January 28th, 2017, while TibetanĀ New Year starts from February 27th, 2017. However, the time of Spring Festival and TibetanĀ New Year is the same in some places like Shigatse.
9. The Latest Road Condition
In Tibet, snow usually lasts until April or May of the coming year, so it is necessary to drive carefully because of the complicate road conditions.
10. Tents in Mount Everest removed
Tents in Mount Everest have already removed. Everest Base CampĀ tourĀ is still loved by tourists, but living in RongbukĀ MonasteryĀ is not a good choice because of the low temperature at night. Maybe it is feasible to arrive in the County of Dingri and then leave for ShigatseĀ after visiting Mount Everest.
