- Day 1: Xian Terracotta Warriors TourMarvel at the Architectural Wonders of Xi'an
Meet your knowledgeable Xian tour guide and skilled driver in the morning at your hotel. After that, drive about an hour to the amazing Terracotta Warriors and Horses, which was discovered in 1974. The site consists of three large pits containing more than 8,000 life-size Terracotta Warriors, horses and chariots. During the 2.5-hour visit, you will learn some facts, including who built it, why it was built, and so on. At the same time, you will also have a brief understanding of the deeds of China's first emperor.
The Life-size Terracotta Warriors and Horses Return to the city area after lunch, and continue your afternoon Xian tour at the Small Wild Goose Pagoda Scenic Area. Along with the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, 13 existing floors, 43.4 meters high (142.4 ft), is an important landmark from the Tang Dynasty (618-907).Ā Learn about its historical story and the legacy of Buddhist architectural art from your informative tour guide.
Move on to the Xian Museum, where you can see many artifacts spanning centuries telling the story of the city. (Please note: The Scenic Area is closed on Tuesdays)
After that, be transferred to the Ancient City Wall. Dating back to the Ming Dynasty, this 600-year-old architectural marvel is one of the largest and most well-preserved city walls in China. Optional: rent a bike on the top of the wall and enjoy panoramic views of the city as the sun sets.

The Ancient City Wall - Day 2: Xian Old City TourVisit the Landmarks and Historical Museums
Your guide and driver await in the morning to transport you to the Great Mosque. With its majestic architecture, tranquil environment, and grand scale, it is one of the best-preserved Islamic temples in China. Then, walk for 10 minutes to explore the vibrant Bell and Drum Tower Square, where the Bell Tower is the landmark of Xi'an. On the west side stands the largest Drum Tower in the country.
Great Mosque in Xian In the afternoon, continue your Xian tour at the Hanyangling Museum. This historic site was built for Emperor Jingdi and the Empress Wang of the Han Dynasty. Unlike the more famous Terracotta Warriors, the Hanyang Mausoleum has a complex layout that includes the emperor's tomb and surrounding sacrificial pits. You'll get a closer look at the royal Han tombs as well as the carefully preserved ceramic figures, animals, and other artifacts.
After all visits, your guide and driver will accompany you back to your hotel. This is the end of your 2-day tour in Xian.
