Although it is well known for being the home of the terracotta army, there are also many other historical and cultural attractions such as Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Xian Museum, City Wall, Great Mosque, Bell Tower & Drum Tower Square, and Hanyangling Mausoleum. Highlights:
1. Marvel at the underground army of China’s first emperor at the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum.
2. Take a bike ride on top of China’s best-preserved and largest surviving City Wall while enjoying the views of the entire area inside the wall.

Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: XianTerracotta Warriors and Horses, Small Wild Goose Pagoda, City Wall (Lunch)
AM: Our tour guide and driver will greet you at your downtown hotel in the morning. We will drive about 1 hour to the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. Known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World” and one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in the 20th century, the museum shows a surprisingly high level in sculpture.
Noon: Lunch in a lcoal restaurant.
PM: After a Chinese style lunch, we will drive back to city area to visit Small Wild Goose Pagoda Scenic Area to take a walk in the beautiful garden and appreciate some delicate relics in Xian Museum. Afterwards, move on to Xian Ancient City Wall, the most completely preserved and the largest city wall in China. It was built for military defense in the ancient time. You can optionally ride a bike on the top of the City Wall to see the city from a unique angle.
After a great time on the City Wall, go back to your hotel for a good rest.

City Wall - Day 2: XianGreat Mosque, Bell Tower & Drum Tower Square, Hanyangling Museum (Lunch)
AM: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and escort you to Great Mosque, a major place for religious activities of Muslims in Xi’an. This mosque, different from the mosques we usually see, is more like a traditional Chinese garden. For example, you will see Chinese pavilions with painted beams and engraved ridgepoles. Then visit the Bell and Drum Tower Square which sits at the center of the ancient city.
Noon: Lunch in a local restaurant.
PM: Today’s last stop is Hanyangling Museum. The mausoleum is shared by the fourth emperor of the Western Han Dynasty, Jingdi and his empress, but they have their own graves. In the excavated satellite burial corridors you will see many mortuary objects.
At the end of the tour, drive back to your hotel.
