Changsha Station and Changsha South Station both operate trains to Zhangjiajie. Every day,Ā 3 bullet trainsĀ run from Shanghai to Zhangjiajie. Shanghai Hongqiao and Shanghai South are the two major stations in Shanghai.
Shanghai Hongqiao Train Station is about 12km from downtown, but it achieves seamless connection with Hongqiao Airport and operates 2 trains every day. Metro lines 2, 10 and 17 can take you to the station. Shanghai South Train Station is in the downtown area and is accessible by metro lines 1, 3 and 15. Only 1 train departs from this station.
Zhangjiajie West Station is the only arrival station, which is about 10 km from the city center.

- Direct tourist bus: After exiting the station, turn right and walk to the tourist distributing center. The direct buses to the park depart here every 5 – 15 minutes. With a cost of CNY 13/USD 2and a travel time of 40 minutes, it isĀ the most popular choice.
