By bus: Take any one of the following buses: No. 3, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 47, 48, 87, 96, 857, and 959 to Wanshi Botanical Garden Station.

By taxi: A taxi ride from downtown Xiamen to Xiamen Botanical Garden will cost about CNY 20. Taking a taxi is the easiest and quickest option.

By bike: If you’d like to take the chance to exercise, bicycles can be rented near Xiamen University or Zhongshan Road. Taking the Huandao Road to Xiamen Botanical Garden usually takes about 30 minutes.

The garden is large and hilly, so walking the entire park is not recommended for most visitors.
