Bailuyuan Ski Resort

Located about 6 kilometers from the Xian city center, Bailuyuan Ski Resort (meaning White Deer Plain) is the nearest large-scale ski resort in Xian and also the only one in Xian offering day and night skiing. The slope gradient here is around 7 degrees, making it cater to both beginner and intermediate skiers.

The resort covers an area of about 20,000 square meters and has two ski trails serving single-board and double-board, and a snow circle area. Stretching 300 meters in length and 60 meters in width, the main ski slope here is the widest one in Shaanxi Province which allows skiers to navigate S-shaped routes without the need for ski poles.

There is also a children’s snow play park in the ski resort, allowing young visitors to enjoy the thrilling snow adventure in a fairy-tale-like ice and snow world. The children’s park provides snowshoes for children aged 2 to 12.

• Ticket price: CNY 89 per person from 18:00-23:00; CNY 128 per person per 3 hours from 8:30-18:00; CNY 188 per person with no time limitation.

How to Get to Bailuyuan Ski Resort

Take bus No. 240 from Xian Railway Station or bus No. 910 from Nanmen, and get off at Xi’an Aerospace Tourism College Station, then walk back about 200 meters to get to Bailuyuan Ski Resort.
