In Xian, the weather in early September and late September is somewhat different. The early September is still hot at daytime, but the temperature difference starts to increase. You can explore Xian during the day with just dresses, shorts and t-shirts. But long sleeves and jackets are recommended to pack to prevent cold in the early mornings and evenings.
