  1. Day 1: Beijing Arrival

    Our tour guide and driver will be waiting for you at the exit of Beijing airport, holding a welcome sign with your name on it. Then you will be transferred to the hotel where we have booked for you and check in . In the rest of the day, take the time to relax yourself or explore the city

  2. Day 2: Beijing
    Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Chinese Kung Fu Show (Breakfast+ Lunch)

    AM: After breakfast, we will begin our today’s trip from the Tiananmen Square, which is known as the world’s largest urban center square. The Square has an area of 44 hectares (109 acres) that can accommodate as many as one million people for public gatherings. It has witnessed may historical events in China’s modern history and is a place for celebrations on such festive days as international Labor Day on May 1st and national Day on October 1st. Next we come to the largest as well as best-preserved imperial palace complex, Forbidden City, located in the center of China’s capital, Beijing. It displays an extraordinarily harmonious balance between buildings and open space within a more or less symmetrical layout.

    Noon: Lunch in local restaurant.

    PM: After lunch, we will continue our tour to the Temple of Heaven, which is the largest ancient imperial worship architecture group in the world. Finishing the day tour, you will appreciate a lively Chinese Kung Fu Show at night. Different from traditional Kung Fu Show, this show is featured with a story of dramatic interest, which makes it more interesting and attractive. After the tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel.

  3. Day 3: Beijing
    Badaling Great Wall, Ming Tomb, Bird’s Nest (Breakfast+ Lunch)

    AM: After breakfast, first you will visit the Badaling Great Wall. As one of the greatest wonders of mankind, the majestic Great Wall is always a must-see attraction for many visitors to Beijing. Nowadays, the Great Wall has become the symbol of the Chinese nation and its culture.

    Noon: Lunch in local restaurant.

    PM: After lunch, we will come to the Ming Tomb. On the way to the Ming Tomb, you will pass through the Sacred Way. The Ming Tomb is the place where 13 emperors of the Ming dynasty (1368-1644) were buried. On the way back to downtown center, we will visit the Bird’s Nest (Olympic National Stadium), which is the main assembly hall of the 29th Olympic sports games in Beijing at the year of 2008. After the tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel.

  4. Day 4: Beijing - Lhasa by Flight

    After breakfast, our driver will pick you up from hotel lobby and transfer to airport for your noon flight to Lhasa. Upon your arrival in Lhasa, our guide will pick you up from airport and then transfer you to hotel.

    It is suggested that you have a good rest at the hotel to acclimatize yourself to the high altitude of the city.

  5. Day 5: Lhasa
    Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street (Breakfast+Lunch)

    AM: Today’s highlight is the Potala Palace. The Potala Palace, winter palace of the Dalai Lama since the 7th century, symbolizes Tibetan Buddhism and its central role in the traditional administration of Tibet.

    Noon: Lunch in local restaurant.

    PM: After included lunch, the guide will take you to the Jokhang Temple and the Gyangjian Tangka Art Gallery. Jokhang Temple is the spiritual center of Tibet. Visitors will be treated to the sight of various exotic and sacred sculptures. Around the Jokhang Temple, there is the ancient Barkhor Street. With the establishment of Jokhang Temple, this street became a prosperous one which is not only a long circumambulation path but also a walking street with many shops and stores. After the tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel.

  6. Day 6: Lhasa
    Yamdroktso Lake, local tibet family (Breakfast+Lunch)

    AM: Today you’ll visit one of the most famous lakes in Tibet - Yamdroktso Lake. It is famed as “the Most Beautiful Lake in the World” with the literal meaning as “the above coral twig” and the holy moral in Tibetan’s heart as “the Scattered Kallaite Earrings of Fairy” as it couldn’t be gotten its full perspective by visitors on the ground. There are three other lakes creeping on the earth with Yamdorktso Lake, connecting each other together and consisting of an endless holy lake beyond our horizon—the beautiful body of the lake on this land is more than 130km long. When looking it from map or sky, you will be surprised to see the lake embedded in this land, glittering like an earring under the sunshine at different time.

    Noon: Lunch on your own.

    PM: In the afternoon, we will visit a Tibetan family. You can have a chance to see a real daily life of the local people.

  7. Day 7: Lhasa - Xian by Flight
    Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery ( B )

    AM: Today you will go to explore more interesting place of Lhasa. After the same pick-up as yesterday, you will come to Drepung Monastery with tour guide firstly. It is one of the Six Great Monasteries of Gulug (Yellow Hat) in Tibet, and shares the fame of the Three Great Monasteries in Lhasa with Sera Monastery and Ganden Monastery. It is located at south side of Gebeiwoze Mountain, 10km east of west suburban of Lhasa city. The ordered architectures in white was built against the Gebeiwoze Mountain and fully occupied the hillside, seeming a huge rice dump, hence the name of “Drepung” which means collected rice in Tibetan language and represents the prosperity of Tibetan.

    Noon: Lunch on your own.

    PM: The second site today you will visit is the famous Sera Monastery which is the second largest monastery in Tibet. Sera Monastery was built in the Ming Dynasty by the famous Sagya Yeshes who was one of the eight disciples of Zongkapa and given the title of the Great Mercy Dharma by Emperor Xuanzong of Ming Dynasty after he had an audience with the Emperor in 1409 and 1414. The debate about Buddhism of Sera Monastery earns its fame in the Tibetan region, which is always taken a necessary activity to see for travelers from the whole world.

    Afterwards, you will take a flight to Xian, where our local guide is waiting for you with holding your name at the Xian airport and transfer you the downtown hotel.

  8. Day 8: Xian
    Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, City Wall, Shuyuanmen Ancient Cultural Street, Yongxingfang Food Square, Tang Dynasty Dance Show and Dumpling Dinner (Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner)

    AM: After the breakfast, we will first visit the ‘Eighth Wonder’ of the world, Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. The museum covers an area of 16,300 square meters, divided into three sections: No. 1 Pit, No. 2 Pit, and No. 3 Pit respectively. It is a sight not to be missed by any visitor to China.

    Noon: Lunch in local restaurant.

    PM: After lunch, head to Xian Ancient City Wall. It is not only the unique and intact city wall that has survived in China but also the biggest and most complete military system of defense in the world. The next stop today is Shuyuanmen Ancient Cultural Street where you can find many ancient Chinese stationery, Chinese painting and calligraphy. Afterwards, come to Yongxingfang Food Street. The whole street was built in ancient Ming and Qing Dynasty style. Many family-handmade foods which have been lost in big cities can be found here.

    Evening: You will have a Dumpling Dinner and enjoy a marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. The show will bring you back to 1400 years ago – the dreamy and glorious Tang Dynasty. After the tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel.

  9. Day 9: Xian
    Shaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell & Drum Tower Square, Muslim Quarter (Breakfast+Lunch)

    AM: In the morning please meet your guide and driver in your hotel. Then you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was originally built to hold Buddhist sutra and figurines of the Buddha that Xuanzang brought back from India in Tang Dyansty, 652 A.D. Afterward continue on to visit Shaanxi History Museum which is one of the biggest and most famous museums in China. The museum houses the cultural heritage unearthed in Shaanxi Province. Although it’s a provincial Museum, the collection of relics here is at national level from both quantity and quality as Xian had been Capitals for more than 13 dynasties in ancient China. You will learn the long history and splendid civilization of China deeply from those priceless exhibits with explanation from your guide.

    Noon: Lunch in a lcoal restaurant.

    PM: After lunch, visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda which is the twin of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It attracts visitors with its special charms that it keeps quiet and peaceful in the bustling downtown area, has precious value on architecture and Chinese garden aesthetics.

    Then head to Bell & Drum Tower SquareMuslim Quarter. Located in the very center of Xian City, they are symbols of Xian. Muslim Quarter is a famous food street in Xian where you can find many authentic local snacks and handicrafts.

  10. Day 10: Xian – Shanghai by Flight

    Today our driver and tour guide will pick up from your hotel and we will take a morning flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival in Shanghai airport, our local guide will be waiting for you with holding your name and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore this city by yourself.

  11. Day 11: Shanghai
    Shanghai Museum, Yuyuan Garden, Old Street, Xin Tian Di, Old French Concession, the Bund area (Breakfast+Lunch)

    AM: In the morning, visit Shanghai Museum. It is a large museum exhibiting the ancient art while featuring bronze ware, chinaware, calligraphy and painting. Then, proceed to the Yuyuan Garden. It is one of the most famous southern China gardens, where you can appreciate the typical architecture of Chinese gardens.

    Noon: Lunch in local restaurant.

    PM: In the afternoon, you will wander around Shanghai Old Street which combines sightseeing, shopping, entertainment and cultural exhibition. Then you will visit former French Concession, a perfect place to learn the history of Shanghai from 1849 to 1943. The following stop is Xin Tian Di, a walking street converted based on the old Shikumen building district where you can find nice bars, cafes and square.

    you will enjoy a short cruise tour along the Huangpu River where you will see totally different scenes about Shanghai along the banks of Huangpu River. Disembarked at the Bund area, you will have some free time to walk around.

  12. Day 12: Shanghai Departure

    Our guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel and send you to the airport for your flight back home after this pleasant journey.
