  1. Upon your arrival in Beijing, your guide and driver will warmly greet you at the airport between 10:00 and 11:00 am. The vibrant city welcomes you with open arms as you embark on your journey.

    The first stop is the enchanting Summer Palace, an imperial retreat featuring serene lakes, beautiful gardens, and historic architecture. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a glimpse into China's imperial past, setting the tone for your exploration.

    Following a delectable lunch featuring Beijing Roast Duck, saunter through the charming Yangmeizhuxie Street and explore the tranquil Shichahai. The day concludes with a rickshaw tour through the labyrinthine Hutongs, offering a glimpse into traditional Beijing life.

  4. Savor a leisurely morning exploring Beijing at your own pace. In the afternoon, embark on a high-speed train journey to Xian.

    Upon arrival, the hustle and bustle of the vibrant Muslim Quarter awaits you, filled with the enticing aromas and flavors of authentic local snacks including biangbiang noodles, ice peak (a kind of drink), soup dumplings, mirror cake, sour plum soup, dried persimmon, and lamb skewer. Let the vibrant atmosphere and culinary delights captivate your senses.

  5. This morning, the local English-speaking guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby. After a hour drive from the city center, you will visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, an archaeological marvel housing thousands of life-sized clay soldiers, horses, and chariots. Crafted over 2,000 years ago to accompany China's first emperor, Qin Shi Huang, in the afterlife, the site is a UNESCO World Heritage treasure. Visitors can explore the meticulously arranged pits, each revealing unique soldiers with distinct expressions, providing a captivating insight into ancient Chinese military and artistic achievements.

    After lunch, visit another landmark of Xi'an - the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. At around 65 meters tall, the pagoda was built in 652 (in the Tang Dynasty) to store Buddhist scriptures brought back by Xuanzang from India. Have a relaxing time there. After that, head to Grand Tang Dynasty Ever-bright City, which is next to the Great Wild Goose Pagoda. It is like a time travel when you walk among many Tang Dynasty-style architectures.

    In the evening, your guide will take you to one of Xi'an's most famous restaurants for a sumptuous dinner, including Calabash Chicken, Hele Made of Buckwheat Flour, Small Hard Flour Pancake with chili, etc.

  6. Today we will head to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a historic Buddhist structure dating back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Visitors will marvel at its elegant architecture and intricate carvings, reflecting ancient Chinese craftsmanship. Surrounding gardens offer a tranquil retreat, ideal for leisurely strolls. Inside the attraction, you will have a chance to visit the Xian Museum which will show you more about this historical city.

    Go to Xi'an Ancient City Wall, and be introduced to the most complete and oldest city defenses with ancient walls, ramparts, gates, watchtowers, and horse passages. You can walk on the massive wall (tall, long, and thick), or rent a bicycle (optional, rent the bike at your own expense) to get some good views of the city and the surrounding moat.

    Bid farewell to Xi'an as you board a high-speed train to Chengdu, anticipating the cultural delights that await.

  7. Embark on a scenic journey to the Leshan Giant Buddha, a colossal masterpiece carved into the mountainside. Ascend to get up close, and for an optional perspective, cruise along the river to view the Buddha from a distance.

    The culinary adventure continues at the Wide and Narrow Alley, where you'll indulge in the most authentic local snacks. As evening falls, let your local guide lead you to discover the hidden gems of Chengdu's street food scene. Taste Dandan Noodles (with peppery sauce), Zhong Dumplings, Bo Bo Chicken, and other popular snacks.
