Location
Xi’an Xianyang International Airport is located in the middle of China mainland—Di Zhang Town, Xianyang city, 13 kilometers to downtown Xianyang and 47 kilometers to downtown Xi’an. And it is the nearest airport to Terracotta Warriors.

Terminals
There are 3 terminals at Xi’an Xianyang International Airport. The T2 and T3 are the major ones in use at present.
T2 and T3 mainly operate domestic and international flights respectively. Domestic flight departure and arrival would be handled at T2 where the 1stfloor is the arrival hall and the 2ndfloor is the departure hall. International and part of domestic flights departure and arrival are operated at T3 in which 1stfloor is also arrival hall and 2nd floor is departure hall.

The Airport Shuttle Bus to Xi’an and Xianyang

Bus Boarding Location
T2: Please buy your tickets at the Tourist Information Center on the 1st floor (Arrival Hall) and take the bus at the outside of 1st floor.
T3: Please buy your tickets at Ground Traffic Center (GTC) on the 1st floor and take the bus at the outside of CTC on the 1st floor.

Tips for Tickets Buying:
1.Please prepare RMB25-30 for ticket buying. You are suggested using Chinese Currency (CNY or Yuan when you purchase the tickets.
2.Please inform the ticket sellers of your hotel name and its location, they would suggest which bus you should take and which stop to get off.

There are KFC (6:00-23:00), Burger King, Pizza Hut, Subway, coffee and some Chinese restaurants at T3 and T2

Shopping
Many CVS, book, cloth, toy and drug stores and souvenir shops are open for the customers.

Currency exchange
Xian International Airport offers a currency exchange service from 07:30-21:00 daily. Tourists could exchange currency in the following places: Arrival Hall of T2, Arrival Hall of T3, Gate325 of Departure Hall of T3, Security Check Area of international flight departing hall in T3, International flight arriving hall in T3. There are many hotels in different stars with good service and prices from about 80yuan to 800 yuan, you could choose what you want easily. Most of them are close to the airport and they would supply the Pick-up.

Tips for flight taking & Cross-terminal Shuttle Bus

a. The international passengers should arrive at the airport at least 2.5 hours in advance because the check-in counters would be closed 40-60 minutes before take-off.
b. The domestic passengers should arrive at the airport at least 1.5 hours in advance because the check-in counters would be closed 40 minutes before take-off.
c. The cross-terminal shuttle bus is free (8:30-20:00, 5 minutes/per journey) between T2and T3. Boarding Gate17 in T2 and the transferring Hall in T3 are available for passengers to take the bus.
