  1. Upon arrival in Shanghai, you will be greeted by your local guide and driver. If you choose the optional activity, you can experience the Shanghai Maglev Train, one of the fastest trains in the world, which offers an exhilarating ride (at additional cost).

    Afterwards, you will be transferred to your well-selected hotel in Shanghai to rest and prepare for the next day.

  2. Today, you will embark on a cultural exploration of Shanghai. Your first stop is the Shanghai Museum, known for its extensive collection of ancient Chinese art and artifacts. Next, you will visit Yu Garden, a classical Chinese garden with beautiful pavilions, rockeries, and ponds. Adjacent to the garden is Yuyuan Bazaar, where you can shop for traditional Chinese crafts and enjoy local snacks.

    Then, you will visit the iconic Shanghai World Financial Center, a towering skyscraper that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Continuing your journey, you will stroll along Nanjing Road, one of the world's busiest shopping streets.

    Finally, you will visit the Bund, a waterfront promenade showcasing a blend of architectural styles from different eras. In the evening, you can opt for a relaxing Huangpu River night cruise to admire the glittering cityscape from the water.

  3. After breakfast, you will visit the Jade Buddha Temple, home to two magnificent Jade Buddha statues brought from Burma. Then, you will explore Tianzifang, a trendy arts and crafts enclave with narrow alleyways lined with galleries, boutiques, and cafés.

    Later, you will head to the airport to catch your flight from Shanghai to Guilin, a city renowned for its picturesque landscapes. Upon arrival in Guilin, you will be transferred to your hotel to relax and prepare for the adventures ahead.

  4. Today, you will embark on a memorable Li River cruise, considered one of the most scenic river journeys in the world. As you sail along the tranquil waters of the Li River, you will be treated to breathtaking views of limestone Karst mountains, picturesque villages, and lush greenery.

    After the cruise, you will disembark in Yangshuo Town, a charming riverside town surrounded by karst peaks. Here, you can engage in optional activities such as countryside cycling or bamboo rafting on the Yulong River, immersing yourself in the rural beauty of the area.

    In the evening, you can enjoy the mesmerizing performance of Impression Liu Sanjie, a grand open-air show featuring local folk songs and stunning visual effects (optional).

  5. Your morning in Guilin begins with a visit to Elephant Trunk Hill, a unique rock formation resembling an elephant drinking from the Li River. Next, you will explore the enchanting Reed Flute Cave, famous for its spectacular stalactites and stalagmites.

    Afterwards, you will head to the Guilin train station to catch a high-speed train to Chengdu, a city known for its vibrant culinary scene and the adorable giant pandas. The train journey takes approximately 6 hours, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery along the way. Upon arrival in Chengdu, you will be transferred to your hotel. Of course, you can choose to fly to Chengdu (more comfortable and expensive).

Today, you will have the opportunity to visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where you can observe and learn about these beloved creatures in their natural habitat. Afterwards, you will explore Wenshu Temple, a tranquil Buddhist temple with beautiful gardens and intricate architecture.

    Continuing your cultural exploration, you will visit Renmin Park, where you can sip tea, relax, and witness locals engaging in various activities like dancing and playing musical instruments. Finally, you will visit Jinli Old Street, a vibrant pedestrian street lined with traditional-style shops, teahouses, and street food stalls.

    In the evening, you can indulge in a delicious hotpot dinner / Sichuan cuisine or witness the captivating Sichuan Opera Face Changing performance. (Optional activities)

  7. After breakfast, you will catch a flight from Chengdu to Lhasa, the capital city of Tibet. Upon arrival, you will be treated to breathtaking views of the Lhasa River, one of the five major tributaries of the Yarlung Zangbo River.

    After check-in, you will begin acclimatizing to the high altitude, as Lhasa sits at an elevation of approximately 3,650 meters (11,975 feet). It is important to take it easy and rest during the remainder of the day to allow your body to adjust.

  8. Today, you will embark on a spiritual and cultural journey in Lhasa. Your first stop is the iconic Potala Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the former winter residence of the Dalai Lamas. Here, you can explore its grand halls, chapels, and the revered Tibetan Buddhist artworks.

    Next, you will visit Jokhang Temple, the most sacred and important temple in Tibet, attracting pilgrims from all over the world. Afterwards, you will stroll along Barkhor Street, a bustling marketplace where you can browse for unique Tibetan handicrafts and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere.

  9. Today's exploration takes you to Norbulingka Park, the former summer residence of the Dalai Lamas. Here, you can wander through beautiful gardens, visit the grand palaces, and appreciate the unique Tibetan architecture. Next, you will visit Drepung Monastery, once the largest and most influential monastery in Tibet, known for its intricate murals and ancient scriptures.

    Continuing your spiritual journey, you will visit Sera Monastery, where you can witness the famous debates among Buddhist monks, a unique and lively tradition.

  10. You will bid farewell to Lhasa as you catch a flight to Xi'an, a city steeped in history and ancient Chinese dynasties. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel, allowing you time to relax and prepare for the adventures that await.

  11. Today, you will delve into the rich historical treasures of Xi'an. Your first stop is the renowned Terracotta Warriors and Horses, an archaeological site that houses thousands of life-sized clay soldiers, chariots, and horses guarding the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Here, you can marvel at the intricate craftsmanship and learn about the fascinating history behind this ancient army.

    Next, you will visit the Ancient City Wall, a well-preserved fortification that encircles the old city of Xi'an. You can choose to take a leisurely walk or rent a bicycle to explore the wall and enjoy panoramic views of the city. Experience the vibrant atmosphere of the Muslim Quarter, a bustling area known for its street food, markets, and the Great Mosque. Explore the narrow streets and try some local delicacies.

    In the evening, you have the option to attend the Tang Palace Dance Show, a vibrant performance that showcases traditional music, dance, and costumes, accompanied by a hearty dumpling dinner.

  12. Your exploration of Xi'an continues with a visit to Da Cien Temple, a Buddhist temple known for housing the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. The pagoda stands as a symbol of Xi'an and offers a panoramic view of the city from its top (note that there is an additional cost if you choose to climb up the pagoda). Next, you will visit the Shaanxi History Museum, which displays a vast collection of artifacts and relics that trace the history of Shaanxi Province and its dynasties.

    In the afternoon, you will take a high-speed train from Xi'an to Beijing, the capital of China. The train journey takes approximately 5 hours, during which you can relax and enjoy the scenery. Upon arrival in Beijing, you will be transferred to your hotel.

  13. Today, you will embark on a cultural and historical exploration of Beijing. Your first stop is Tiananmen Square, one of the largest public squares in the world and an iconic symbol of China. From there, you will visit the Forbidden City, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Inside its grand halls and courtyards, you can admire the exquisite architecture, intricate decorations, and imperial treasures.

    Next, you will visit Jingshan Park, where you can climb to the top of the hill for a panoramic view of the Forbidden City and Beijing's skyline. In the afternoon, you will visit the Summer Palace, a vast imperial garden renowned for its beautiful landscapes, pavilions, and the tranquil Kunming Lake.

    In the evening, you have the option to attend a Chinese Kung Fu show, where skilled performers showcase martial arts techniques and acrobatics (at additional cost).

  14. Today, you will visit the magnificent Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the best-preserved sections of the Great Wall of China. You can choose to take a cable car to ascend and descend the wall or, if you're up for the challenge, hike up or down to experience the wall's grandeur and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.

    Afterwards, you will visit the Sacred Way, an impressive path leading to the Ming Tombs, where you can appreciate the intricate stone statues and majestic archways. On your way back to Beijing, you will pass by the Bird's Nest and Water Cube, the iconic stadiums of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and have the opportunity to view them from the outside.

  15. On your last day, you will visit the Temple of Heaven, a complex of religious buildings where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties once held ceremonies to pray for good harvests. Here, you can marvel at the stunning architecture and peaceful surroundings.

    Afterwards, you will explore Beijing Hutongs, traditional narrow alleyways that offer a glimpse into the old way of life in the city. You will have the opportunity to visit a local family's home and learn about their daily routines and traditions.

    Finally, your guide will see you off at the airport for your onward journey home or to your next destination.
